Compassion in Healthcare
Sai Ananda Hemodialysis Centre (SAHDC), which commenced operations on the 1st of February 2018, provides FREE hemodialysis treatment for end-stage renal disease patients. Based in Batu Caves, Selangor, SAHDC extends its services to poor and needy patients who are otherwise unable to afford this crucial treatment. The centre is registered and licensed by the Ministry of Health (MOH) Malaysia, and operates everyday (including public holidays), except on Sundays.
The significance of the dialysis center lies in its provision of comprehensive care for the underprivileged, ensuring they receive holistic support and access to essential healthcare services. This aspect holds particular importance for refugees and other vulnerable communities, for whom such facilities are often inaccessible or financially burdensome. The center’s commitment extends beyond the standard offerings of a commercial dialysis facility, embodying a dedication to serving those in need and providing a lifeline for individuals who might otherwise lack access to vital medical resources.
